Therapy for Chronic Pain Syndromes

Patients who suffer from chronic pain such as fibromyalgia, myofascial pain, and complex regional pain syndrome, are each unique. Pain generators may no longer hold good clues for the patient or therapist and the original sources of pain may no longer be responsible for the current pain experience. Integrative Physical Therapy uses the best current evidence to help the patient understand their unique situation and together the patient and therapist devise a workable plan to move the patient toward better function and pain reduction. A better quality of life is possible for many who are limited by their pain and functional loss.
